Carqueja (Baccharis genistelloides) aerial parts – 1 kg (2.2 lb.) bulk powder.  

Please note that due to powder density, this product may ship in one double poly bag or 2 containers of 8 oz. each. 

Bulk orders are prepared once a week. Each order is prepared in the order it is received. Cut-off time for bulk orders is each Thursday at 10 AM EST. Orders received after 10 AM EST ship the following week. Thank you for your understanding. 

Preparations

Carqueja is taken in the form of a tincture, in capsules, or as an infusion (tea). The infusion is taken at a dosage of half a cup, 2 to 3 times daily. 

To prepare an infusion of Carqueja, place 1 tsp. of the powdered aerial parts in a tea ball or gauze bag and allow it steep in 8 oz. of freshly boiled hot water in a covered ceramic pot for 10–15 minutes. Pour the infusion through a fine strainer to remove any sediment and allow it to cool for a time before drinking. Refrigerate unused portions in a well-sealed container.
